Q:Not a question I'm afraid but just a huge probs about the Blake Griffin video. The editing is brilliant and the footage is just wicked. Any chance you'll be doing any more in the near future? Perhaps a PG?
If you don’t know what he’s talking about, here’s the video, a 25-minute Blake Griffin highlight reel.
Thanks for the support, man, I appreciate it. I don’t really plan on doing anymore 20+ minute videos like this, unfortunately. It really took a lot of effort for me to keep track of basically every single play that Blake had (given, I enjoyed them all because he’s what a like to call “human+”). I did it for Blake because I could tell he was going to have a special season and thought he deserved to have it completely chronicled, and I don’t think I have it in me to do it again.
One thing I had almost-but-not-really considered doing was do a new Blake video every year and release them all when he retires, so I’d have a collection of literally every highlight he’s ever had. That would be amazing, but also a lot of work over a long time and I think even I would get tired of it at about hour 6.
Anyway, sorry to let you down, but feel more than free to watch the Blake video as often as you want and to tell everybody you’ve ever met to watch it too. Haha, thanks for the comment.

NBA ref Steve Javie totally looks like the trololo guy.
Larry Bird: A Basketball Legend (Part 1)
Dirk’s been drawing a lot of comparisons to “The Hick from French Lick” recently (“The Trick from Munich,” anybody? No, you’re right, that was awful). Here’s a refresher on what Larry Bird was all about. I used to have this on VHS and watch it religiously as a kid, and here it is now for you; part 1 above, the other parts linked below (total length is about an hour).

In case you missed it when I posted it a few days ago:
Oh Me, Oh My! // Blake Griffin COMPLETE Highlights
I’ve made many videos in my day, like my Dumb and Dumber/Bieber gets shot mashup and my faux Tyler Perry ad, but this is the one I am most proud of. I started work on it the first of December 2010 and finished it just the other day, so it took me about 164 days to complete.
This is surely the most complete Blake Griffin highlight mix available anywhere; I think there was something like 4 games that I did not take clips from because there wasn’t anything worthwhile in them.
Most of my video sources were HD, although there were some clips for which I couldn’t find high definition video. I would like to give a special thanks to the NBA’s YouTube channel and TheBlakeGriffinChannel on YouTube, my main providers of footage. Thanks also to my other sources, which are too numerous for me to list (or remember).
The songs in the video, in order, are “Radar Love” by Golden Earring, “The Rolling People” by The Verve, “Love Spreads” by The Stone Roses, “E-Pro” by Beck, “Bodysnatchers” by Radiohead and “Old Fangs” by Black Mountain.
If you want, check out my other YouTube videos at my channel, but fair warning: there is only one other sports video, and the rest are mostly comedy videos I made a year or two ago, but they’re passable enough to at least check out once. As for this video, I recommend setting it to HD and letting it load for a bit, then get comfy and enjoy.
(a bit of trivia: the original HD video is 1.75GB and took over NINE HOURS to upload to YouTube.)
